The Château de Beaumesnil invites you and your family or friends on a mysterious tour in its authentic and incredible historical setting.

The idea? To dive into an exceptional enigma taking place in the castle’s 40-hectare historical park. Only a stone’s throw from Bernay and a 1-minute drive from Rouen.

No doubt you will make lots of wonderful memories with your family or friends, right between Caen and Paris!

The plot of the treasure hunt: a terrible malediction!

Year of Our Lord 1430

The forest bordering the Château de Beaumesnil has been avoided by villagers for centuries. Known as the Forest of Forgotten Souls, it is said that anyone who ventures too far into it forgets who they are. An ancient curse hangs over these places. The source of this curse? A spell cast by a sorcerer. To reverse this evil spell, your mission will be to find the magic formula so as not to lose your memory. We have chosen you for your insight and investigative skills to find the spell that will allow us to put an end to this scourge. You must succeed in solving this mystery for the good of all. Do you have the courage to venture into this mysterious forest?

The goal of the treasure hunt

Set off on an adventure through the 40-hectare historic park, where the Forgotten Souls are hiding. On a journey full of pitfalls, young and old alike will have to join forces to reach their goal... Decipher the clues and find the magic formula that will save you!

Good to know

The tour can adapt to the composition of each group and will entertain all participants; may they be young adventurers or bold grown-ups! It is however only recommended for children aged 6 or more in order to plainly enjoy the puzzles. If you come with a baby, please note that the estate is inaccessible to strollers. You will have to bring a baby carrier.
